Ventajas
- Learn as you go environment. Never have a fear of not knowing something (unless you don't know how to use google and other resources) - Once you prove your drive and responsibility, you earn the ability to take a project a run with it. No micromanagement - Great culture. Work hard, play hard mentality. Lots of company events and activities throughout the year - Ability to travel to different places (sometimes even different countries) for project work - You can take on as much responsibility as you want including project management activities - Exposure to many different roles, software, and environments - Sarcasm and dry humor is prevalent. You can't be weak hearted
Desventajas
- lack of communication from and between management. However, if you're bold enough to approach management with certain concerns or topics they're pretty open to converse - poor performance review system; salary increases not linear to performance - sometimes last minute assignments and/or decisions
