Ventajas

ROKT is a challenging and extremely rewarding place to work. You are expected to make an impact quickly and are given the keys to making that happen. There is a laser focus on execution in every level of the business - politics and inaction are not valued and are pushed out surprisingly effectively for a place that has grown so quickly. As the company gets larger, structure becomes more palpable but I am constantly refreshed by the 'no ego' approach to getting the job done. If a person can add value, regardless of their role or level they are enabled & encouraged to make an impact.

Desventajas

The pace of work and expectation to deliver can be daunting and people will talk of burn out. My take is if you love your work and execute effectively the pace is exhilarating, not tiring.

Ventajas

The paycheck was on time. The infrastructure didn't get in my way technically.

Desventajas

•Ideas I brought up in meetings were routinely dismissed, only to see the exact same ideas approved weeks later when repeated by someone within the inner circle. •Meaningful projects consistently went to those already tied into the right connections, and it was clear capability had little to do with it. •Real mentorship and guidance existed, but it happened in closed conversations I was never part of, while others received constant support from senior engineers. •Key decisions were made in small informal groups, and I would only learn about them after everything had already been decided. •I was repeatedly assigned lower visibility infrastructure work while others were given opportunities to grow through impactful projects.
