Ventajas
Working with the students is amazing. Many of the other staff surrounding you are incredible people.
Desventajas
If you think you’ll have support from anyone in leadership, think again. It’s a lot of back and forth. You’ll be told one thing only for them to tell you you’re wrong and they never said it. If you ask for help with an issue that is above you, you’ll be blamed for the issue. If you escalate issues because you follow the chain of command, you’ll be brushed off and the issue will be swept under the rug. The people that sit at central office are more interested in saving face and making sure their buddies have jobs but the people in the fields and doing the dirty work get pissed on. And don’t you dare complain or you’ll have a target on your back.
