Ventajas

fewer employees and closeness to them. great customers

Desventajas

open longer than other retailers especially on holidays. all these with the exception of a few close at least by six or are not opened. store and assistant manager are required 50 hours a week there by cutting full time hours for shift supervisors. we are usually down in sales after six p.m. on sundays and have few sales before noon on sundays. we were open 9-9 thru the week and 10-6 on sunday. pay scale is not up to what competitors pay. district and regional managers use intimidation to scare lower management to do what they say is 0 tolerance policy. to me 0 tolerance is harassment in the work place or discrimination. to say one can be fired for not pulling outdated milk three days ahead of time even if only one gallon, you can be fired on the spot, store manager and who ever was on duty that day. there are many more petty examples of this 0 tolerance policy. required to be open in dangerous times such as blackouts and severe snow weather, level 3 and 4, and icy conditions. personal time and family life are not an option. you are definitely criticized more for what is not accomplished than praised for work well done. we are faulted if equipment does not work right on some things, i.e western union. too much to list.
