Ventajas
Lyniate is a great place to work. Your colleagues are very supportive and friendly, with a real team atmosphere. They do like to invest in their staff. I myself started as a junior engineer and worked my way up to a lead engineer, getting a fairly competitive salary all along the way. I know of several others in similar situations. I worked in some of the brownfield projects (Java/.NET) in the Rhapsody application, but also got to work on several green field projects with new technologies (Golang/AWS/React) during my time there. I know of other staff members that switched roles, ie a team lead to a dev or a dev to a tester, and that was well supported. Benefits are great, and useful for every staff member (unlimited PTO/health insurance/life insurance, and numerous others). There was no overworking in the dev team, we are encouraged to only work the 40 hour week and communicate in advance if deadlines are at risk.
Desventajas
Sometimes administrative matters can be a bit complicated due to staff being located in different areas globally.
