Ventajas

Work place and environment is okay. Beer bash and soft drinks for free.

Desventajas

- The Bangalore center is predominantly involved in maintenance and low end QA work - The work culture resembles a IT services company than a product company - Air is thick with politics with a very thick layer of top management. - Most of the top management in India have got a level higher promotion in Netapp as compared to other organizations like Cisco, HP, EMC, Dell and others - Performance appraisals are a farce. Cronysim and Sychophants have a field day in the company even if they have brought nothing of value. - Layoffs and Organizational changes are very frequent and there are not based on performance. Most teams who were doing product development work with significant ownership have been laid off and the residual teams are into low end maintenance and QA work - HR is rude and arrogant and aligns with top management rather than employees. Candor is tolerated and people who have concerns are slowly made to leave.

Ventajas

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Desventajas

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
