Ventajas

The best thing about Insight is definitely the people you work with. If you are fortunate enough to be a part of a great team like I was, you will enjoy talking and working with the people everyday and will have a good manager and team lead. The benefits are also pretty standard with PTO time, health, vision, dental, etc. My department does have the ability to work from, which is nice. There are also perks such as free food when different vendors come to visit, which can be on average 4 or 5 times a month. There are also team building events depending on the office and a pretty good Christmas party each year with cool gifts you can win. Overall the company is good and some departments may be better or worse depending on where you end up. If anything, it is a good career starter and you will be able to move into a better position either within the company or elsewhere.

Desventajas

Unfortunately there are a few cons as well. Sometimes the workload seems to be never ending and as soon as you get it down one day, it piles back up the next. This leads to at least a few hours of OT each week and very little work life balance because you're never really sure when you may off for the day. We have had mandatory OT on Tuesdays and Thursdays since I can remember plus late nights on month end/quarter end and whenever we get too far behind. When we had more people, it was a little better, but we have lost 5-10 people since I've been here and the workload has also doubled. Turnover is pretty common and kind of expected after a couple of years. Duties and tasks also constantly increase along with learning new processes and systems, however pay does not increase with it. Pay is on the lower end and should be raised AT MINIMAL 20% to compare with all the work associated with the job and to give employees more than just enough to get by. Stress is also pretty high because of the workload and keeping track of a million things you have to remember. So basically, it's a pretty good working environment with decent benefits but you are overworked, underpaid, have limited growth opportunities depending on the department, and minimal work life balance.

Thank you for the honest feedback. It's important to note that Insight is an employer that does strive to allowing their employees to work from home or remote when needed, and it's always been a wonderful benefit for working at Insight. Insight is an employer that does allow a tremendous amount of work/life balance where employees can work in the office or from home if their schedules allow. If there are times where you need extra support due to the amount of work that you need to complete, it's important to reach out to your manager and ask for the additional help as there maybe someone on the team that has extra bandwidth to help out. Ventajas

Work life balance is okay. Hybrid schedule. Depending on your manager they can work with you. Some really great and caring people. Generous PTO.

Desventajas

Pay is noncompetitive. The medical benefits are pretty bare minimum. Lastly, the company morale is in the tank overall. Missed several quarterly quotas, new CEO brought in to fix things. Nobody knows where anything is headed
