Ventajas

The pay was pretty good for the level of responsibility I had at Equifax and the commute was not horrible.

Desventajas

Incompetent management, totally political environment, long work hours, shifting requirements, constant drive to cut costs, short staffed, no product vision, not open to new ideas or methods of operation. Management constantly made every employee feel that their job was at risk in order to "enhance productivity". Overall, just a miserable pit of a place to work.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Desventajas

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
