Ventajas

* No hierarchy, work closely with management * Small team, plenty of opportunities to wear many hats * Management's passion for their software they are building is infectious and very encouraging * Really good pay, never had any issues with salary * Flexible timing *Super fast-paced * Extremely collaborative and stimulating environment

Desventajas

* Small team, heavy workload, no work-life balance * Flexible timing but doesn't matter you'll be working all the time * Inefficient processes, lots of miscommunication, and lack of trust * Lots of micromanagement * Extremely harsh feedback, complete lack of praise * Open office structure causes plenty of distractions, impossible to do deep work * Super fast-paced, not everyone's cup of tea * Plenty of useless meetings * Lack of clarity over expectations * No avenue for constructive complaint (Note: some of the problems were being addressed at the time of leaving)

Ventajas

You get to have fun in office

Desventajas

There is a noticeable lack of professionalism among employees, which affects collaboration and accountability. Management practices are inadequate. The engineering manager lacks formal training in leadership or business management, resulting in poor team coordination and guidance. The CEO often communicates in an aggressive and disrespectful manner, which creates a hostile work environment and negatively impacts morale. There’s a culture of artificial urgency, with tasks often marked as high-priority without valid reasons, causing unnecessary stress. Favoritism is evident in decision-making, which undermines team cohesion and fairness. Critical resources required to do our jobs effectively are either missing or insufficient. The technology stack is outdated, relying on frameworks and infrastructure that hinder scalability and modernization (e.g., Ruby on Rails, PHP, self-hosted databases, no cloud adoption). Basic infrastructure like Wi-Fi is unreliable, which is surprising and unacceptable for a technology company. The work-life balance is poor, with employees regularly working 10–12 hour days and receiving little to no recognition or appreciation. There is a high turnover rate, and the company has struggled to retain experienced staff. Currently, no senior technical leaders remain. Deployment and release practices lack structure and consistency, often depending on the availability or mood of senior staff. The engineering team lacks diversity, with no visible efforts to build an inclusive workforce—there are currently no women on the engineering team.
