Ventajas
I've been working in the Lisbon office for six months now, and so far, I've really enjoyed my experience. Everyone, from the recruiter (Irene) to my colleagues, is very friendly and professional. The benefits are quite good compared to other Portuguese companies, including insurance, a meal card, discounts, and the option for remote work. The salary is in line with market standards. I love the team I work with, and I felt welcomed from the moment I joined Unit4, even though I don't speak Portuguese. Every company has its slogan, but this is the first company where the slogan truly reflects reality. They say "people first" at Unit4, and during my onboarding, the CEO of the company took the time to join all new hires to speak about the history of the company and its values. It was a great experience to have the CEO of such a large company with 4000 people taking the time to welcome new employees. In my previous job, which had only 100 people, I didn't see the CEO even once in the three years I worked there!
Desventajas
The company isn't perfect, of course, but they are aware of areas that need improvement and are constantly working on them. For instance, communication between departments could be better, but given that we have 4000 people at Unit4, I suppose it's something every enterprise-sized company has to address.
