Ventajas

It's a pretty good work environment. Work colleges, upper management/team leads & hr are generally very friendly & co-operative in Brisbane. Most of Brisbane management appreciate and understand the complexities of the task at hand. Nice Office, Coffee Machine, Free Sodas, Fooseball ect,.. Not expected to work 10 hour days constantly. Maybe a one off might have to work a couple of extra hours, but can take that off your week.

Desventajas

Lack of understanding of the product base. Most of the people in the office don't know what the other people in the office are doing. Wasted time because of projects have not been properly planned from the beginning. Working with OEM's that have no respect for the work you do, and expect things to just work! Not enough testers. There is no drive for Engineers to better themselves -> Seems only a select few get to go to conferences ect.
