Ventajas
A fantastic company started by smart people with a clear vision that they have successfully turned into a reality. The product is amazing and the customers love Tableau, they are engaged and friendly, customer relationships can feel more like "coffee with a friend" than a corporate meeting. American benefits such as a kitchen full of sweets, chocolates and fizzy drinks (if you like that sort of thing) and plenty of beers in the pub next door to celebrate a big deal closing!
Desventajas
A lot of management in EMEA do not seem qualified for their level of leadership, a common error in such fast paced companies. People have been promoted into roles due to circumstance and tenure not necessarily because they are well suited. Focus is ONLY on the number, No people development, no basic HR support, no excuses when the number isn't there. Senior management live in the data and create a culture far removed from the one Tableau speaks to. Disorganized goals, slow responses, and a splatter gun approach to priorities are a daily occurrence.
