Ventajas
Tableau has a fun, transparent, and most importantly *collaborative* culture. People are smart and they work hard here. There's energy and optimism in the air because we all believe in the leadership and our products. An innovative company that emphasizes R&D to extend their market-leading position - this is a company that's dong all the right things. Where I came from previously, departments battle each other and managers are more concerned with building their own fiefdoms than putting company/customers' interests ahead (sound familiar?) and I can honestly say I haven't seen a trace of that here. I always thought one of those "best companies" to work for published in various articles only exist in silicon valley; I can't believe I'm actually working for one. Pinch me, I must be dreaming....
Desventajas
Tableau does not pay the highest salary. Unless you're a rock $tar $oftware engineer, then you can write your own golden ticket.
