Great company with a network of entrepreneurs who are all willing to help you grow and develop into a strong-minded business professionals. I am honestly appalled by the recent reviews because of the negative outlook people have on hard work. This job is designed for entrepreneurs willing to understand the long-term gratification vs the "now" gratification factor and grow based on their performance. I was an Account Manager with the company and have learned more about business and entrepreneurship than my 4 year business degree because of the structure in place. Management runs daily classes on all aspects of owning a business, leadership development and sales and marketing. I have learned how to handle rejection, keep a positive mindset and more importantly, learn what it takes to be a leader. The network of business professionals I have made here will last for the rest of my career as a business owner. I have also learned valuable aspects of any small business: Sales management, HR management, interviewing, direct and indirect marketing, profit and loss statements, payroll, public speaking, etc. I understood the door-to-door sales was only a small part of my program and it helped me developed the "do whatever it takes" mentality and how to master the art of sales management (an aspect of business every successful entrepreneur must know). I improved my student mentality and learned quickly to listen to my leaders and execute the tasks I was given. I have gone on business and networking trips all around the country and was the leader of my own team. If I was not moving to across the country, I would still be with Summit Innovations Inc. Just great people and a great working environment.
Desventajas
This is a program designed to take a lot of time during the day and is not the typical 40 hour a week job. It is a very front-end loaded business, but once at the assistant and management level, associates are able to adjust their hours accordingly.
