Ventajas

I've met some cool co-workers who are good people and who do good work. Good remote-first work culture.

Desventajas

Where do I even begin? There have been so many changes over the past year, from more responsibilities being added to current roles to more recently commission structures being changed that negatively affect employees' earnings. At least be honest and not gaslight us into thinking this will benefit us... We will know for sure after Q1 commissions are paid out but the overall sentiment around these changes is not positive across every single person we've talked to. Leadership is completely incompetent and has a severe lack of communication and accountability. Turnover across client-facing roles is very high. So many people who I was onboarded with are long gone now as well as many higher level positions leaving the company over the past year... C-Suite, VPs, Directors, etc.... I wonder why?? I have a prediction that you will begin to see more low ratings like this over the next few months. Do better! Good luck to everyone else still here.

Ventajas

Honestly hard to name many at this point. There was a time when StackAdapt had real energy — people seemed to genuinely enjoy the work and each other. That culture has mostly eroded. If you're considering joining, do your research on what the company looks like today, not what it was two or three years ago.

Desventajas

Leadership quality has declined significantly. Several managers in place have no business being in those roles — they contribute little, take credit for wins, and deflect blame when things go sideways. It creates a demoralizing environment and good people notice. Comp structures have shifted in ways that primarily benefit the top of the org. What used to feel like a fair deal now feels like the goalposts keep moving. On the product side, there's not much that meaningfully differentiates StackAdapt from competitors, and there's a lack of transparency with clients around pricing. It's hard to feel proud of what you're selling.
