They are run by their sales force, who lie and manipulate both their clients and their talent. They are never seeking the best for the consultant. Consultants are dispensable. They don't really care about "growing your career" - thats just a marketing slogan to manipulate. As often as they repeat it, there are no actions to back it up. If you want top dollar for your skills, you will never get it at STG. Their markup to the client is so high that they feel they have to low-ball the consultants and cap their salary well below market in order to make the profit they want with their business model. That's fine, but they will not tell you that.
