Ventajas
I've been with SmartThings a little over a year and a half. I've seen the company grow, change and adapt through a variety of stages. I have never felt more confident in the future of the company than I do right now. Pros: The people are phenomenal. The success of the company entirely rests on the shoulders of wildly committed employees. So many of the people are hyper intelligent, committed, passionate and caring. People join the company for the excitement and potential but they stay for the people and the irreplaceable bonds that form. I've worked at a variety of different sized organizations and I've never felt more cared for. My manager cares about my head, hands and heart. The benefits are great! The company pays for a LARGE part of the premium to keep the cost low for their employees. Our Mountain View, CA employees work in a dog friendly office! Having a casual office makes coming into work easy. If appointments or other things pop up, management is very understanding and allow you to work from home. I love being able to travel (occasionally) between the offices. It's always nice to be able to match a name and a face! Regardless of the role, our employees have so many unique opportunities in front of them! I am a true believer that you get out of it as much as you put into it - embrace it.
