Ventajas
Rustic Pathways is an amazing company, ranging from the mission to it's staff and overall culture. I love Rustic because I am able to fulfill multiple passions within this career. We have the freedom to work remotely, and aren't confined to a strict 9-5 schedule. Comparing it to my past experiences, each employee is valued, respected, trusted, to bring his or her talents/expertise to the table. In doing so, I feel motivated and passionate to do my job with a purpose no matter how tough it can get at times. The obvious perks of Rustic involve travel, a great team environment, and good pay. Beyond that, some of the most important things I am taking away from this job is the sense of family from my coworkers, and how I am learning and growing as a more enriched person every day. With all of that said, I think there's nothing but positive things for the company and its future.
Desventajas
Traveling sounds like a dream, but it is not for everyone. It's a hard, dirty, and physical, but rewarding job. You have to go into this humbled and ready to not be on a dreamy vacation. In terms of work load, some months are busier than others. Since employees work in different time zones, you might get emails during your off hours. You can solve this by turning your phone on do not disturb. All in all, these are little things that I personally don't have a problem with, but prospective employees should be aware of. I'd rather deal with these little cons than a ton of stress and drama at a larger company.
