Ventajas
I wish I could give a 4.5-star review. Routematch is not perfect, but it has been impressive to see the company make some long-overdue improvements. Routematch's vision of transforming communities by powering more inclusive mobility systems is really differentiated, and makes our work feel meaningful. It's also inspiring to get to work in a rapidly transforming idustry, and within a company that is eager to shape those transformations--not just respond to them. Love getting to work in an international company. The benefits package got significantly stronger in 2020, with stronger health coverage, parental leave, and more flexible PTO. Routematch has also offered us a lot of stability through the coronavirus situation. They seem to care how everyone is doing.
Desventajas
Routematch is small, so it doesn't have all the systems and resources of a "big" business. That takes some getting used to for those of us who came from larger companies. Routematch can be chaotic; although many people have been at Routematch for 8-10+ years, it feels like we sometimes build new processes from scratch. Seems like there was a lack of trust between teams in the past (see other reviews), but I have seen this changing as Routematch brings together some previously fragmented groups. Lots more collaboration these days, and more of a shared vision.
