the weddings and sometimes the clients you work with. good experience for new photographer

rough editing style, poor communication and training. things would change everyday and they blame you for things they never communicated. they don't take accountability for their mistakes. it's basically a family business that got big on sales but cannot execute any promises made to employees or clients. pay is poor

Actually shooting the weddings can be fun as long as there is a full team to alleviate some of the stress and workload, and if the couple is fun and have a "go-with-the-flow" attitude, other than that, they can be long, tiring, and you DO NOT GET PAID for traveling to and from the venue. The hourly rate only kicks in once you arrive and when you leave, this was not clearly advertised when applying and that is by design, the owner is not interested in paying you a living wage and will squeeze you of everything you are worth and then some for poverty wages. Also, the mileage reimbursement is abysmal and an absolute NIGHTMARE to try and receive, which is something that you are ENTITLED to and that is IN THE CONTRACT, and he acts like he'll just "get to it" and make you jump through hoops just to get an insignificant amount of money. It's truly pathetic.

Everything. DO NOT WORK HERE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE OR HATE YOURSELF.
