      Ventajas

      Experience in a fast paced work environment. Some nice people come through the doors occasionally.

      Desventajas

      Expectation is that you hit the ground running at 110% regardless of your background or experience, and it only gets more difficult from there. Management are terrible, with no idea how to motivate or organise a workforce. Everything is on the engineer and their life. All the miles driven, all the calls made all the travel time taken without a hint of it being paid back or an incentive given. Work hours here are long and tough and the pay will be well below the average if they can hook you in at that lower level. No respect or encouragement is given from above and nothing is expressed or given to make you want to better yourself with them or work your way up. The office isn't particularly nice either.

      Thanks for the comments, I appreciate your views on the 'pros' and we always look for areas where we can improve. Many of our technical staff really enjoy the opportunity to experience a wide variety of technologies and work directly with our customers. We provide a great deal of training to support this, and those who are motivated to learn and do well can progress to senior technical roles. There is excellent support from the management team and office based staff who are without exception friendly, polite and professional.

      Some of the places you get to work in ie their clients are nice environments to works in

      Desventajas

      No Company car, they expect you to use your own car and don't pay all of the fuel costs. No company phone your expected to use your own, never offered a pension to employees until the government made it Law. so basically the offered no benefits at all.

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your views on the pros are spot on as we work with some of the most amazing customers and get to work in some very special places. In response to the cons, Business mileage is paid and there is a mobile phone allowance. I would suggest that the training and ability to gain lots of qualifications is seen by many staff as a benefit that makes RivaNET stand out.
