Ventajas

It was a laid back work environment. Learned a ton. Felt supported by my direct managers. Loved my clients and was excited to go to work everyday.

Desventajas

The top has no idea what the bottom does day to day, nor do they care. When it comes to funding they are irresponsible at best, corrupt at worst. They laid me and dozens of others off weeks after giving out raises. All of my performance reviews were great so I was shocked. Worst of all they didn’t even allow me to have a final close-out session with my therapy clients, forcing me to commit patient abandonment. I have no idea what my clients were told about my disappearance from the site. I was locked out of everything immediately. The executive team’s gross mismanagement of the company has negatively affected a lot of people - both clients and employees.

Ventajas

What I Liked: Mission-Driven Culture: The organization genuinely cares about the people it serves, which makes the work feel meaningful and impactful. Supportive Team Environment: Many colleagues and managers are collaborative and supportive. There’s a real sense of teamwork across departments. Flexible Work Arrangements: Depending on the role and department, there has been flexibility around remote work and schedules, which I appreciated. Exposure to Diverse HR Projects: I had opportunities to work on a broad range of HR functions — from recruitment to employee relations and benefits — which helped me grow professionally.

Desventajas

What Could Improve: Compensation & Benefits: While benefits are decent, compensation can feel below market rate for certain positions and geographic areas. Career Advancement: There could be more structured pathways for growth and professional development across the organization. Communication Across Levels: At times, communication between leadership and staff could be more transparent and timely, especially regarding organizational changes.
