Ventajas
Mostly relaxed environment with work/life balance. Free lunch is a nice perk now that we're back in office. After hours work was often known in advance. The scrum teams themselves do a good job with great people. Overall good forward thinking in terms of the technical future, but developers are held back by legacy systems that need modernizing, and team politics
Desventajas
Lack of any real roadmap. Priorities shifted based on who the loudest underwriter was that day. Upper management is largely untechnical, and based company-wide tech decisions on their often changing architecture goals. Top down leadership kept their decision making opaque, in ironic defiance of the "We value TRANSPARENCY" slide of the company screensaver. Aggressive push back to office by managers who need validation in the popularity contest of company culture
