Ventajas

There are a few talented people at Reliance, from which you can learn a lot about fire protection. Design Drawings are well done.

Desventajas

You have to be part of the "in crowd" to survive and be given opportunities to learn and grow. The company is struggling financially; it closed its DC office and its Richmond VA office and continues to have lay offs. The CEO is nice guy but he is over his head on how to turn the company around fiscally. My manager did not recognize my training nor my talents and did not make use of them. I asked for work, but only received empty promises. I volunteered to work to improve Reliance, My talents were ignored. Reliance has two employees that are extremely difficult to work with. They are just mean and nasty.

Good union co. If you need additional training They get it for you. They have cook outs and crab feasts for the workers. Gives workers hats, shirts and jackets.

Desventajas

Some of changes sent to engineering, didnt get to the field guys and it kind of made us look like we didnt belong there
