Ventajas

This amazing group of people makes Rauxa a fun place to come to work every day. Being a small/mid-size company, it allows your voice to be heard and for you to get you hands in every aspect of a job.

Desventajas

They tend to over-promise, causing employees to work very long hours. The digital half of the team can cause frustration at times.

Thanks for contributing your feedback. I agree that we’re a fun group of people! I also agree that we work really hard, which sometimes leads to extra hours. A lot of us have an intense mentality to never let our clients and co-workers down. However, the senior leaders do their best to encourage people to find their personal balance. Thanks also for the tip on our digital practice; we’re actively working to better integrate and improve operations between our teams. Best, Gina

Ventajas

Rauxa is a fun, energetic environment with a lot of smart people who are trying to do great work for their clients (and think about ways to constantly win new business, which is great). It feels very start-up, which in my opinion makes it fun since there is the opportunity and expectation that you think outside of the box and find new ways to help your clients and help the company grow. The management team is caring, making a point to reach out to new hires to ask about how their experience at Rauxa is going. I've never worked at a place where you can call/text/email/or walk in to chat with the CEO and she'll genuinely listen to you, no matter your role, level, or title. Their offices are in great locations, they have nice equipment, and the benefits are decent (reasonably good medical, pre-tax commuter options, lacking health/gym discounts).

Desventajas

You must speak up and help to create your path to success. Because Rauxa isn't beholden to a large holding company, they do things differently, and definitely act in an agile/start-up way -- which is to say, your success is tied to the company's success. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're junior, you need to make sure you're not just being eager and excited to be at work, but really trying to be strategic, ask the right questions, challenge clients and the status quo, and think big about opportunities. That will help you get yourself noticed and on the right path for growth here.
