Those foundations have been eroding and decaying due to the philosophical changes brought about since PE investment and the insertion of a new C-Suite. Change is necessary for growth, and that is not the problem. There are areas where change would be beneficial to the company and its workers. However, while this change could be accomplished without sacrificing culture and morale, those have been callously sacrificed to "better the organization". The heart of this company has become a withered husk of what it once was. In conclusion, at the core of the cons I would say is that Raintree has transitioned from a people-centric, caring environment where people worked hard because they truly cared to a soulless corporation draining every last ounce of passion from its staff and exploiting every financial opportunity with its customers in the ever-increasing pursuit of revenue.
