Desventajas
My work experience on the Digital Team was marred by leadership that seemed to care more about the appearance of a positive work culture than actually creating a good work culture. The expectation on this team is that as you get further into the job and produce more results, your expectations become higher and higher to the point where the numbers become unachievable. The quota system was exceptionally flawed. Essentially new employees were given a very low quota that was easy to achieve, and each month that you were with the company, your quota went up. The quota once you reached the highest level was so high that no employees were hitting said quota, and the ones who were did so under questionable circumstances. So essentially, as you worked there longer, your pay was effectively reduced. In most jobs, there is a set quota, but the new employees (in their first couple months) are essentially given quota relief to allow them to learn their jobs, but instead they used an incremental system that made long term employees more and more stressed with less and less pay. The largest problem on this team is that it is lead by three people that have a tendency to push an excess of work on their employees while dangling promotions over their heads, only to not deliver on that promise. Further, there tends to be culture of toxic positivity that permeates over the whole team. If there is a problem, it is best to be quiet or incur the wrath of the leadership team. If you agree with every decision, the likelihood is that you will do well, but if you disagree with a direction and voice that concern, you become the victim of bullying. There were multiple good employees who just couldn't take the level of harassment that occurred and eventually left. This resulted in leadership then speaking poorly of the employee after they were gone. If you are tight with the leadership team, they will tell you why employees were fired. They will tell you about medical leave for other employees and the exact details of their leave. They will tell you about the specific right ups people received. The biggest problem I saw was that when people did something wrong, they were belittled in front of the entire team. There were frequent times where someone was yelled at in front of the entire team on the floor. The turnover in the department was quite high because people would realize their pay was declining the longer they stayed, and the amount of work would get higher and higher. Then in turn, the employees did not feel like their management team had their best interest at heart.
