Collegial environment that balances high expectations (client-driven as well as challenging ourselves from within) with support for employees' individual interests and needs. Flexible work arrangements. Small and flat enough to keep all staff plugged in to cool opportunities as they arise -- which is often, thanks to recognized thought leadership and marketing know-how of CEO and senior leaders. Excellent environment for mid-career communications professionals who: 1) care about doing top-quality work; 2) accept that formidable client demands/deadlines go with the territory; 3) like to learn and embrace new perspectives on our discipline; and 4) work well as part of diverse teams. the career opportunities here are less about titles and more about skill development through complex projects and creative problem-solving, and experiences with high-profile client companies. Support/admin staff are wonderful, smart and highly responsive.
Desventajas
Not ideal environment for entry-level communicators looking for a "check the box" career path, but ROC doesn't claim to be. And that's a "pro" anyway.
