Ventajas
Individual contributors are nice and dedicated.
Desventajas
HR has no clue what they are doing, consistently looking for extreme measures rather than mediation and resolution. However they give managers a pass, giving them “training” instead of what they do for an IC which is to punish them and make them feel small and unsafe. They cover for their own shortcomings by sending hrbp staff to get “coaching skills” certifications when they have clearly made rash decisions. HRBP spends time fraternizing with senior leadership while making themselves unavailable to help individuals grow.
