Ventajas

Trabajarás con profesionales inmobiliarios muy experimentados.

Desventajas

- Equilibrio deficiente entre el trabajo y la vida personal (me dijeron "este no es un trabajo de 9 a 5", se esperaba que trabajara algunos fines de semana e incluso en ocasiones en PTO, etc.) - Mis gerentes estaban en constante desacuerdo - La cultura de la empresa es anticuada : Todo el mundo se viste elegante para ir a la oficina, no hay opciones de trabajo desde casa, y yo estaba en un equipo con personas en su mayoría 10-20 años mayores que yo. El CEO incluso se puso manos a la obra una vez y le dijo a alguien que respondió a una encuesta de participación que su opinión era incorrecta o que deberían buscar en otra parte si esto no es para ellos. - Algunos de los líderes están abiertos a nuevas ideas, mientras que otros son tercos y no ceden en su enfoque para resolver problemas - Incluso si se le asignan nuevas responsabilidades, no se le otorgará una compensación adicional. Me dieron varias responsabilidades fuera de mi descripción de trabajo original y obtuve un aumento anual del 3%. - El equipo de administración de la propiedad y los equipos de finanzas están bien formados y cuentan con procesos establecidos. Otros equipos se forman sobre la marcha, lo que provoca problemas de escasez de personal - Dependencia de solicitudes ad-hoc/No se dedica tiempo a desarrollar procesos sostenibles: esto alimenta el problema del equilibrio entre la vida laboral y personal de los empleados de nivel inferior

There is not always a one-size-fits-all solution, so employees need to be adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and collaboration.

This creates exciting opportunities to learn, grow, and be part of meaningful innovation. Prologis also does an excellent job giving back to the community, which makes the work feel even more meaningful. Benefits are competitive, Prologis offers beautiful office spaces and a flexible hybrid work environment which emphasizes that there’s a strong focus on work-life balance. Overall, it’s a place where you feel valued, supported, and part of something bigger.

Desventajas

One challenge I’ve observed is that career progression can vary depending on the department. In some areas, opportunities to move into higher-level roles may be limited, particularly when those positions are held long-term. Additionally, the level of support and development can vary by manager and team, which can impact the overall employee experience. While many leaders are highly supportive, consistency across the organization can differ.
