Remote work and 'unlimited' PTO
Desventajas
Perion used to have a thriving culture, healthy work life balance and plenty of opportunities for growth in both career and pay. In the past two years, jobs have been eliminated, teams merged and overall company direction is constantly changing. If you're direct manager is decent, your day to day is bearable but anything outside of that is a challenge.
The CEO is too busy obsessing over his image and legacy to take note that his company is a sinking ship. Anyone in a VP role or above, only cares about pleasing him, no matter the cost.
The employees on the ground, the ones that are keeping the lights on, do not get rewarded in any sort of promotion or pay increase, no matter the endless hours they commit to. In fact, if returns are poor, the sentiment is 'we're one happy family and we'll get through this together'. But if the returns are positive, the rewards are kept only for those at the top.
HR is nonexistent, benefits are below market standard and all employees, no matter the department, are paid significantly under market value with empty promises that things will change. Your manager will urge you to 'stick it through' but just know that's just a talk track. Week by week, employees give their notice - from those that have been here 10+ years to those that were here for less than a year since there is absolutely no room for growth, at any level.
If you have the misfortune of interviewing at this company, I strongly suggest seeking employment elsewhere.
