Hiring process was easy to get through.

Poached me from another company. Poor leadership with direct manager. I was presented a position where I could make an impact and run my team, however everything I did was stifled and put down. I was talked down to, made to feel insignificant, undermined and micromanaged by someone who wasn’t able to the job themselves. Escalating issues was called being a tattle tale. Director only wanted to be told how good her ideas were and did not accept constructive feedback. Was told that my job was to manage and her job was to have a vision. When asked, a vision was not able to be produced, however I was told that I wasn’t aligning with it. Not sure how you can align with something non-existent. I was blamed for issues that were identified that started well before my time and my Director degraded me and stormed out of our 1:1 messaging me soon after and telling me to go home. I spoke to HR on multiple occasions, but their job is not to protect employees, it is to protect the company, so this resulted in my termination less than 24 hours after filing a complaint. Confidentiality means nothing to them and they will assist management in firing anyone who wants to better the company instead of being focused on making the manager look good, even at the expense of employees and the company.

If you would’ve asked me 2 years ago, I’d have significantly more pros than cons, but everything has gone downhill since we got a new CEO. People are being fired left and right for “restructuring,” including those who’ve been with the company 10+ years and are known for doing a good job. It seems the execs want to fire all the people actually doing work and replace them with new senior positions (who may or may not do work) or contract out work. There’s no sense of job security for anyone, and morale is at an all-time low. If you still decide to work here, prepare for a poor orientation that does nothing to prepare you for your job, low pay, extremely slow weeks followed by extremely busy weeks, never being promoted (even though they’ll make you think you will be), and an open-office floor plan where everyone sits on Teams meetings all day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate hearing from current employees, especially those who have been with us for several years. We recognize that the past year has brought a lot of change following new ownership, along with transformation as we work to build a more scalable organization. This includes expanding our leadership team, evolving how we operate to support long-term growth and investing in new skills to support our innovation. We understand that change of this scale can feel uncertain and, at times, uncomfortable. Decisions related to restructuring are never taken lightly, and when they do occur, we strive to support impacted team members with care and respect. Our focus is on preserving the best parts of the culture and values that have defined PatientPoint, while also evolving and redefining them to build a stronger company for the future. We know there is still work to do, and feedback like yours plays an important role in helping us improve. We are optimistic and excited about where we’re headed and committed to creating an environment where our teammates can grow, contribute, and succeed.
