Ventajas

This company earned the badge of being one of the best non-profits to work for in the US. The people are progressive, caring, and compassionate. The crisis intervention and suicide prevention work PRS does is critical for a troubled world with suicide rates higher than ever before. The crisis link positions are remote and this is quite advantageous in many respects. Excellent paid training is provided. The managers and directors are very supportive and savvy. I will always value and appreciate my time there.

Desventajas

Being 100% remote, depending on your personality it can be a challenge to feel the sense of comradery one would feel in person, but there are Zoom calls and chats and they do their best. I would think that an important criterion to become rated as one of the best non-profits to work for in the US would be the pay scale. For the work employees do, the pay is not great, but the benefits are better than in most places. As for the pay, I now work part-time for the same amount I earned full-time at PRS. Just sayin'.

work from home, Overtime 2.5x

Desventajas

leaderships sucks, some managers suck, high turnover rate, training is a joke, if you speak up about the work and let them know the flaws is when harassment starts then boom retaliation. It be one supervisor per shift with over 30 employees, everyone is not treated fair, I joined the job as I thought I would be assisting people going thru crisis, well that was a lie they are helping providers commit fraud and the pic is let clueless on why. I only been there a few months and over 20 people including several supervisors quit within a week. This company lies to get federal grants and I cant wait until they are defunded and a better organization takes over. CEO make 5 figures, and the pay is only $$20???! Its a time limit on care, we can't talk more than 20 minutes without being told to wrap a call, there should be no time limit on anyone's crisis, never ever again, do not come here.
