Ventajas
First and foremost, the company operates in an extremely employee-centric manner. Management not only states that they support work/life balance, but actively enforce it through their actions. It operates in a very lean fashion - there is not any micromanaging, but everyone makes themselves available to the rest of the team. This opens up individuals' days to get their work done in the manner that best suites their working style. Moreover, the product offering is uniquely positioned in market with extremely high-demand, making it a significant growth opportunity for employees - both personally and professionally. There is a lot of work to be done, creating ample opportunity for individuals to develop new skills, enhance existing skills, and expand their knowledge of the tech world.
Desventajas
My "con" is a pro in my mind, but should be called out to adhere to individual's working style. Numecent operates as a startup, meaning there is not a lot of structure for a given role outside the morning stand-up meeting. This gives you the freedom to complete your job responsibilities in your preferred manner. If you prefer a predefined structure on how to do you job (don't like ambiguity) , it may be difficult to navigate. That being said, everyone makes themselves available - you just have to be proactive about raising your hand to ask questions and meet with key stakeholders. Everyone has proven they would be more than happy to do so.
