At NSSPlus we value each employee's contribution and welcome any suggestions to improve how the company operates. We encourage our employees to be open and honest with management so we can grow better together. Our people make the company and without them, we would not be where we are today. A large number of employees working with the company have been with us for over a decade with another large number working at NSSPlus for more than five years.
One avenue employees have to provide feedback to management is the NSSPlus Health Check. The NSSPlus Health Check is an open conversation between the employee and management on how the employee is doing and what areas can be improved. During this time, the employee can also express recommendations they see helping the company or the contract improve including culture. The Health Check is done at least annually but can be requested at any time.
Communication between employees, employees and management, and to the customer is key. Improvements which can be made to improve our service to the customer and our employees will be evaluated and implemented. In addition, management welcomes feedback outside of these scheduled meetings either through informal conversations in the hallways, emails, or a formal meeting. Employees can always reach out to the corporate HR department, as well, as an avenue to be heard.
This contract supports a demanding customer within a high-paced environment; which is not always suitable for all personality types. NSSPlus strives for customer satisfaction, however, we also strive for employee satisfaction. We do our best to ensure we recruit the correct personality types to fit with this high-paced, demanding environment. NSSPlus encourages all of our employees to perform to the best of their ability and it is up to the employee to make an effort and contribution to the contract. The hands-off, just filling a seat, minimalist attitude is not accepted by our customer and is not rewarded by NSSPlus. We expect all of our employees to contribute and do their part in regards to contract execution.
