Ventajas
I just started with Net Transcripts last month and I'm truly impressed by them. They have an extremely flexible schedule with PLENTY of work! Deadlines are clear and manageable, which is extremely important to me with my home life schedule. No minimums per day, which is a HUGE bonus because there are just days where some of us cannot get to the computer! Audio is usually really good, but like with any company, sometimes not so much, but that's okay! Management is always willing to answer any questions and is ALWAYS friendly. I must say, my experience with them so far has been spectacular.
Desventajas
The only thing that is kind of off-putting is the pay rate. There are times, however, in the audio where there is nothing being said, which you're getting paid for nothing, but then there are other times when the people talk so fast that you've typed thousands of words and aren't really compensated for it except for the audio minute. That's my only thing is I wish it was just a tad bit higher or room for promotion? Overall, it's not a "bad" pay rate, though, not minimum wage or anything! If you're good enough, you can make a lot. Everything else is fantastic. :-D
