Ventajas

Work/life balance is ok, but YMMV. Some teams you barely work 40, others you rarely work less than 60. The people here are great, and are consistently the top reason people come and stay here. The work can be exciting depending on your role. I've been fortunate enough to work with multiple customers across multiple industries over my tenure and got to be apart of really unique and interesting applications.

Desventajas

The salary is terrible. They keep saying they are going to fix it, but even their internal ratios prove just how far you are behind and show how little they are doing about it. Some reactive work that comes your way is not very exciting or meaningful. I suppose this is true of many jobs, but it is just very apparent here. You wear multiple hats, even the ones you don't want to wear, and ones that don't grow your career. Management is very hit or miss. I've had several managers who are project managers, not people managers. Rarely do they ever inspire you to be better or provide guidance on career growth. You shouldn't come here if you expect the company to grow you, you must grow yourself.

Teams were let go after they were purchased. I'm not sure how it is now.

Ventajas

The people and the culture! Mostly very helpful, smart, fun loving group of employees. NI hired a lot for culture fit and that made the day to day a lot of fun.

Desventajas

Company vision from the higher ups suffered greatly after the pandemic.
