Ventajas
Some colleagues are really helpful, patient in teaching/guiding, good at what they do & will look out for you. You can also learn & grow rapidly if this is your first job as company will provide many opportunities.
Desventajas
1) Bad leadership Boss is disrespectful, proud and enjoys people stroking his ego, thus, grooming a crowd that constantly shower him with praises to stay on his good book. Practices favouritism openly, insulting and unfair to those who does the work but doesn’t know how to please him. 2) Bad attitude Boss frequently belittles you, make personal attack such as “you don’t know anything”, “you’re nothing” if you get on his nerves or try to provide alternate opinion in a discussion, resulting in 1 way communication most of time with him talking mindlessly for hours. Also, lost count of the times he mentioned that he’s an Oxford PhD grad just to make you feel stupid. 3) Bad office culture Boss also favour those who do overtime, especially weekends, believing they are better workers. He openly praise people them in front of others who don’t just to prove his point. 4) Bad company structure Constant overlapping roles & responsibilities as boss believe doing more is good for personal growth but the underlying sentiment feels more like value for money to employer. Decisions get overwritten last minute all the time, sometimes repeatedly (approving & going back on words). Company also invests efforts in multiple business with the same pool of manpower & resources without clear business plan. 5) Bad future Job is highly specialised with very little opportunities outside of the trade. Skillset is transferable but hard to be appreciated by others. Also, contract deters one from joining competitors, which is a very petty move imo. No chance of learning commercial software as company only use its in-house software & freeware, which is buggy. Also, boss constantly attempt to gaslight you into believing his software is the best in the world, which is obviously not true. Words of advice: Join with extreme caution.
