Ventajas
It was nice to start a job quickly after only being in Thailand for a couple months. I used to be an options trader in the states, so it was really cool to change careers without much time or effort. I really wanted to stay in Thailand longer and Modulo was an option.
Desventajas
I read the bad reviews before I started, but I gave the company a try anyway. I figured, if it's really that bad I'll just quit and go home. Boy, was that a mistake. So many people say teaching in Thailand is cool and the money is not bad. Maybe that is true if the company is good, but I'll never know. These guys acted like tools from the beginning. They would tell me conflicting things, and then act like it was my fault when I went to the wrong room, or grabbed the wrong textbook. They told me to pretty much write down every detail of each class I teach, but then I find out the guy who trained me isn't doing any of it (I taught a student after he did). I'm tired every day when I get home, I don't have the energy to go sightseeing or meet up with friends. I can't afford to go for beers more than once a month anyway. Now I have to keep the job until the end of my contract or they are going to keep a large portion of my wages... This sucks.
