Ventajas
Matrix as a whole is a good company that can give you a platform to grow if are good at your job as there are lots of development opportunities. Most of the teams are really great to be around and there is a hybrid working policy. The new CEO is much more open to open discussion. They are also introducing more benefits for employees. On the whole most people are nice and friendly.
Desventajas
Biggest issue at matrix is the culture between teams. Some teams do not want to help others and will simply pass the buck when they think it’s no longer their problem. The attitude should be that we’re all on the same team, not that we’re lots or several different teams. There’s employees that have an attitude who are in senior positions as they’ve been there for so long, it’s a sense of entitlement. I also think the company has actually gotten more stingy with social events.
