Ventajas
I have been at Marketlab for almost 3 years, starting with a couple of internships before being hired on full-time. The positive changes I’ve witnessed have truly made a difference for the company. One of the most impactful changes for me was the leadership team's commitment to development and professional growth. As I started off my career, I have recently been given every opportunity to learn new areas of my function. There is also a big investment in development programs across the company to help everyone reach their full potential. Another major change that has kept me at Marketlab is the focus on a People-First culture. The intentional focus to improve things like benefits and the physical work environment were immediately impactful. The long-term focus by implementing a People Committee to help drive the culture from the people up is starting to take effect as well. Finally, everyone at Marketlab is extremely approachable. We are a small team, so everyone is asked to pitch in when necessary, and cross-collaboration is a must. You will be hard-pressed to find someone who isn’t willing to take time out of their day to try and help someone else.
Desventajas
One area that I have personally seen improvement in over the last year, and would like to continue to see be a focus is pushing communication down throughout the entire organization.
