Ventajas
Some amazing people are at this company. Willingness to let employees branch out based on strengths and interests. Interesting work and variety of projects. Most of the executives were really kind. Profit sharing. The head office in Lethbridge is great; I always enjoyed working with the people there. My satellite office also had great people who I loved working with, but had some issues talked about below.
Desventajas
There are also some very negative people with MPE. I was regularly belittled and made to look and feel stupid by my supervisor. Sometimes this mistreatment verged on bullying. Poor work-life balance and lack of flexibility. It didn’t matter if you put in 20 hours of over time, if you walked in at 8:03am your lateness was noticed. In my time with the company, my office experienced more than 80% turnover. Why was this not seen as a problem and addressed? People were fired in the snap of a finger, others would mysteriously leave (be there one day, gone the next). It inspired a culture of fear, wondering who would be next; just bizarre and uncomfortable. Work was sporadic at times.
