Ventajas
Working at Modular Robotics (or "Modbot" for short) was a great experience. Their products are the coolest toys you'll ever play with and their team is comprised of very intelligent, capable people. I was a marketing intern who worked alongside many of the Modbot team members and, after working there for 7 weeks, I got the sense that I was "part of the Modbot family". I was given a great deal of autonomy throughout my internship while also getting enough direction to complete my work. Modbot is a fun place to work with awesome people who are all funky tech nerds at heart that love to manufacture and sell educational tools - how much better does it get?
Desventajas
Even though Modbot has a lot of intelligent, capable people, it's still going through its developmental stages as a startup company - meaning that there's A LOT of work to get done. All of the top management people at Modbot are usually busying away at their desks trying to deal with 5 problems at once. So it's really a job for those who thrive in high stress and busy environments.
