Base salary only with no commission and a very misleading end of year “bonus” structure. You will never know when the “bonus” is paid out, or how much it will be. So for example, if you place a candidate and the fee is $30k, you will have no clue what you make from that placement. It’s all extremely hush hush. No one talks about compensation. It’s extremely strange since it’s a sales role. If you’re okay working hard and making placements and making the company a lot of money but never knowing how your “bonus” is calculated, then maybe you’d like it. Some people are totally okay with just a base salary and zero incentive. Also, a lot of roles are a complete waste of time and have been open for TWO YEARS. Everyone is nice but it feels very fake and almost like they’re overcompensating for the lack of financial incentive. Definitely not a company for aspiring or former high earners.
