Ventajas
I speak highly of my time working at Learning Bird. I am coming from an education background and was able to apply my skills to meaningful work in a supportive setting.
- Interesting projects and partners: the projects are dynamic and it meant I felt engaged and interested in my work!
- Person-first attitude: there is an encouraged work/life balance and leadership ensures employees feel supported.
- Regular feedback: I was continually growing and developing.
- Weekly reflection meetings: allowed for collaboration between coworkers, reflecting on what was working, what needs growth, and making a plan for change as necessary.
- Effective internal processes: cohesion between teams and the successful delivery of projects to partners.
- Fun: I thoroughly enjoyed the work I was doing and felt as thought the conversations I had on a daily basis were about effecting positive change within the world of education.
- Staff professional development: Learning Bird focused on growing staff as employees and people, including implementing a book club that supported staff camaraderie but also personal growth.
I would highly recommend working for Learning Bird. I had been an educator for over a decade before joining the company and learned so much through my time working with them that I have since applied to my current work.
Desventajas
I don't have any negatives of the organisation. They were very supportive of my working in a different timezone which allowed for increased flexibility in my hours.
