Let me just say this was the best job I ever had and wish I did not have to move. Was at LGBT Network for over 4 years and was able to do so many different things as part of a team and organization that is fearless and the leader to protect and serve the LGBTQ+ community. The support from leadership to grow has made me a better manager and person and I could not be more appreciative. I'm so glad I did not pay attention to the people who continually post bogus reviews. Just hope to find a place like the LGBT Network that goes above and beyond its mission where I moved to. Highly and seriously recommend the LGBT Network as a place to work and build your career with passionate, competent co-workers and supervisors and managers that focus on helping you grow and making a difference.

Desventajas

Working at the LGBT Network is no joke. There's a lot of needs for the community and sometimes it can feel overwhelming. But while expectations are high, the support is there to succeed.

Ventajas

Pros are the work we do everyday for the community and the support we get from the top down. After this latest election I am thankful I can do meaningful work and completely be myself and have the support from leadership.

Desventajas

Hard work but don't consider this a con.

I met some cool people.

Desventajas

Just stay away. The CEO pockets donation money, and the organization is mired in legal issues. The network exploits employees, fueling a high turnover rate, and offers no pay adjustments when workload increases. Management couldn’t care less about the relationships you build with participants or families, and they’ll feed false stories to clients when letting staff go. They’ll smile to your face, then undermine you behind your back. Harassment by strangers or even higher-ups is ignored. Expect to work yourself to exhaustion with zero appreciation. And judging by the luxury cars in the parking lot, you’d never guess this was a nonprofit.
