Flexibility to grow in the building typology that you express interest in. Firm operates in a variety of sectors, which helps growth when economy slows certain departments.
Desventajas
Salary - notably lower than other firms. Discussions regarding salary adjustments are always curtailed. Citing the AIA salary bracket isn't adequate.
You're expected to join lots of events, pin-ups, and design groups. Lessons learned seminars are great. These focus groups need a lot more oversight and structure. What took months to complete could have easily been delegated to a dedicated staff member as overhead.
Bonuses and compensation - regardless of time invested and overtime efforts expanded, it seemed much wasn't done to reward overtime. Most meetings appear to be concerning profitability, but rarley has this translated to salary adjustments.
Promotions & Favoritism - lots of favoritism amongst partners, especially employees who started their careers there.
