The compensation package is competitive (on the high end) There are individuals throughout the company who genuinely care about doing great work and supporting one another.
Desventajas
At first, this opportunity was exciting. The role came with promises of a strong future and very compelling compensation, but the reality did not align with the expectations. I thought I was walking into a role that will showcase my skills and allow me to contribute in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that this is an “every person for themselves” environment, competitive rather than cohesive. Ideas are sometimes adopted without acknowledgment, which can be discouraging and quickly reduces motivation. Speaking up to share ideas or challenge decisions is not always well-received unless you are part of the informal “inner circle.” This dynamic limits innovation and makes it difficult for others to contribute authentically or to feel supported, especially for employees who thrive in collaborative environments. Although the salary offer was hard to pass up, the organization operates more like a startup than a seasoned company. There is very little structure, zero documented process, and no long-term planning in place to support sustainable growth. These operational gaps make it difficult to execute work effectively. After receiving new budget funding, the company hired rapidly without a clear or realistic strategy, and it has been clear that the plan quickly failed. Frequent restructuring is routine, with layoffs occurring nearly every quarter. This year alone, we saw a CRO replaced, 2 new CMOs, and multiple rounds of team reductions. Leadership often cites “lack of budget” as the barrier to necessary improvements, yet layoffs continue as funds are redirected elsewhere. Cosmetic changes are made, but they so far have not resolved the deeper problems: inconsistent leadership and lack of direction. If you are looking for a diverse, stable and collaborative environment, this company will likely fall short. The constant instability, lack of leadership structure, and competitive internal culture create an atmosphere where you are always looking over your shoulder, wondering if you’ll be next. This experience has unfortunately left many (myself included) actively seeking new opportunities.
