Ventajas
Based on my experience with my line manager and the team I worked within, it was a positive, collaborative, and non-toxic environment. There was a good work-life balance, and I was able to work fully remotely without being micromanaged. My line manager trusted me to deliver, which made a real difference to my experience. Overall, it was a great place to work within the right team and leadership structure.
Desventajas
Following changes within the CIO function, the Target Operating Model changed significantly, with new ways of working introduced, including changes to hybrid working arrangements. In my view, the transition could have been managed with more transparency and sensitivity, particularly for colleagues with home-working contracts, many of whom appeared to be impacted by subsequent redundancy decisions.
