Ventajas

The environment is extremely informal. Employees are informed about the what they are expected to deliver and the deadline, but that's about it. If you value being unsupervised most of the time, this might be worth a try.

Desventajas

The pay rate is extremely low, people are asked to perform tasks that have absolutely nothing to do with their position or background, management has no idea of what they are doing but still force their input into projects, there is no respect for employees. Morale is obviously very low and turnover is ridiculously high.

Ventajas

I worked for Infinite for 2 ½ years as their Sales Executive in the U.S. Office. In those 2 ½ years I learned many skills which I think will advance me in my career. While my title was Sales Executive, I was essentially a jack-of-all trades. I wrote proposals in response to public and private RFP’s, ran Infinite’s Social Media accounts, headed the Fun Committee (in-office potlucks, birthday/anniversary announcements), assisted in their Marketing efforts and dabbled as an assistant to the President and the HR Office from time to time. The company is pretty flexible when it comes to your schedule, as long as you’re reasonable with your requests.

Desventajas

Titles mean nothing at Infinite. I was the Sales Executive, yet did very little in sales at all. There was no training and very little structure. The entire 2 ½ years I was learning as I went and finding things to do on my own, rather than waiting for instructions. There are never performance reviews to go over your work to assist you in improving, and if you want a raise, you have to fight hard for it (harder than you normally have to for any other company, anyway).
